What is Limerick Sports and Social Club?
Limerick Sports and Social Club was set up in 2016 by John Mulligan as a way to bring people with similar interests together, add an extra social side to someone’s life, make it easier for people to meet up and/or organise events together.
LimerickSSC would like to support charities and support local businesses. Limerick Sports and Social Club is a way forward to engage people from different backgrounds and introduce a spurt of fun in their daily lives. We will endeavour to reintroduce the Inter-firm and Inter-pub soccer competition into the Limericks yearly events calendar as they combine three important values, which are: fitness, challenge, and great fun, plus to give people something to look forward to.
Limerick Sports and Social Club aims to:
- Bring people together and create a multitude of competitions between big/small businesses and individuals.
- Allow members to inform and promote their ideas/ activities.
- Have a broad range of events and get togethers.
- Have special discounts and offers from all types of businesses for members. Plan events within companies/businesses like inter-department competitions or team building events.
- Hold simple get-togethers like going to a poetry night or walking up a hill.
